Barbie Nails: How to Achieve the Trendy and Glamorous Look

Step 1: Prep your nails
Before you start, make sure they’re clean and dry. Remove any old nail polish and trim and file your nails to your desired shape. You can also use a cuticle pusher to push back your cuticles and ensure a neat finish.
Step 2: Apply a base coat or nail strengthener.
When using liquid polish, a base coat is a good idea to protect your nails and prevent staining. Step 3: Choose your colors
Barbie nails are all about bright and bold colors, so feel free to mix and match your favorite shades. Pink is, of course, the most iconic Barbie color, but you can also incorporate other bright shades like purple, blue, or even neon green. Step 4: Get Started
Once you’ve chosen your colors, it’s time to get your Barbie mani started. If using liquid polish, apply two coats of your base color, making sure to let each coat dry completely before applying the next. If you use Color Street’s nail polish strips, you need only to apply the strip and you’re done. No wait time is needed. 
Step 5: Add 3D embellishments (optional)
For the ultimate Barbie nail look, consider adding 3D embellishments like gems or decals. You can apply these on top of your polish with a small amount of nail glue, or purchase press-on nails that already feature the embellishments.
Step 6: Apply a top coat
To finish off your Barbie nails, apply a glossy top coat to seal in your design and protect your nails from chipping. This step is not necessary if you use dry nail polish strips.
